Is it me, or is there a new DGAF attitude in semi-popular media that causes characters in deeply life-threatening situations to sort of... boop around for absurd amounts of time doing random chores instead of, say, running away from the incoming threat, or even disarming the known murderous villain who has been temporarily incapacitated not 20 feet from the hero?
